The Career Directors International (CDI) has announced its 2009 Toast of the Résumé Industry (TORI) competition winners. The TORI award is a prestigious award that pits résumé writers from all across the country in a head-to-head writing competition.
Hire Imaging’s own Barb Poole took an impressive 2nd place in the “Best New Graduate Résumé” category. Barb was also nominated in the “Best Executive Résumé” category too. The competition was tight so just being nominated is a true honor in such an impressive field of résumé writing peers.

Professional résumé writers submitted entries for the TORI Awards in late May, and a panel of the industry’s top writers was selected to judge the submissions. Up to 7 entries were nominated in each category, and CDI officers made the final ruling. The winning résumés and cover letters were announced on October 17th in Orlando during CDI’s 8th annual convention.
